Christ For the City International is an urban mission agency called to help people transform cities by transforming lives. It is our vision that there be no place without a witness, no church without a vision and no person without hope.

We derive our purpose from the Word of God in Ephesians 4 verses 11-13 and verse 16:

 “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ…

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” (Italics added)

 Therefore, the purpose of CFCI is to facilitate the organization, coordination, and empowerment of the Body of Christ; to improve the health of their cities and make the lives of the people we work with better.
